Yes! Yes! Yes! Thanks for this message. So glad we were given special individualized purposes so that we could know we matter. But, some of those purposes are so important that when we choose to refuse a task He has given, He may offer it to another. There was a specific foreign land missionary task God called me to when I was 7. At age 46 I completed it… yeah, a bit procrastinated. But, I am very sure that this task… He told me that I was not the 1st, nor 2nd, nor 3rd, but the 4th He has offered this task to. Others ultimately refused. And, I was blessed to have served in obedience.

I struggle often with the idea that what I am doing matters in the face of all which exists. I don't necessarily understand what makes me crucial to existence when the Sun exists. What is impressive about me when I was given this body.
I didn't create myself.
I didn't form my own consciousness.
I am here and that must mean something, but if what I do is just to play my role in things... I don't know how I'm supposed to find a purpose in myself when it already seems to have been decided for me.

I do believe people have a purpose. I also believe evil is in our world. Unsure if evil came disguised as humans or corrupted humans. I do not believe God wants evil to win though. Perhaps we need evil to show us we are good?
