The Frank Sinatra Show: (Full Show) January 3, 1945 [Guests: Rudy Vallée, Eileen Barton]
Показать описание
Happy New Year everyone. Excited to see what more Frank posts come about on the horizon from not just myself, but other collectors in this space sharing the same passion as myself. To start off the new year I am starting it with Frank's very first episode to his new program simply titled: "The Frank Sinatra Show" Frank received a brand new introduction, sponsorship, and the format of his show remained more or less the same to his previous radio program. One key difference is Eileen Barton and Frank go separate ways on January 10, 1945 after sharing 5 months of doing songs and comedy bits. She makes her grand return as a guest to his television show now sharing a moment one final time on any of his programs on May 5, 1951. Replacing the role of Eileen would be a male actor by the name of Bill Goodwin in which he remained until this program's final air date which was on May 30, 1945. Frank was not present on the last two episodes since he was overseas doing a USO tour for the armed forces and was replaced by Dinah Shore for the penultimate episode and by Ginny Simms for the final episode.
This premiere episode features a song Frank never commercially recorded, a song he never commercially recorded until 2 months after this broadcast aired, and his first ever radio debut performance of a song made popular by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz.

*Audio Substantially Improved to my best abilities. Some aspects are not perfect and deviate from the general overall good sound but the audio is very listenable just quiet in some select parts*
*Video while forced to be in 1080p was not upscaled whatsoever as the original image quality was already good*
