Star hotels never do like this, tax percentage feed in the software.

Below 7499 plus taxes - 12% and if its 7500 plus taxes above 18%

This taxes advised nd ordered by the government.

If 6000 plus taxes, hotel software picks only the 12%tax. If you are paying the taxes to the hotel and hotel team put the tax amount directly in the GST portal. Once the taxes invoice taken you can't able to modify.
You paying the tax amount, same tax amount hotel pays to the government.
Hotels never takes the tax or putting it their own pocket its against to the law.

Before influence anything please do the research.
