My Reasons Why Coldplays Mylo Xyloto Era Will Never Be Topped

I agree all the things. Clocks was more tense sounding but i like AHFOD and MOTS vocals more.
I think it was their best era. And we know that there are sooo many scrapped songs. Sadly unlike Viva era they didn't release an EP. We just have 14 songs (3 of them are intros) + Moving to Mars. Also the live set was a bit shorter than AHFOD and MOTS era.
I was also thinking MOTS would sound more like MX but it's so different. MX was raw and rocky, MOTS is too soft and electroinc sounding. Jonny was at his best in MX era. If you listen carefully he carries all the songs except MMIX, A Hopeful Transmission and UFO. He is the one in the center always. He does it in live and for old songs too. Hope we get a similar album like MX in case of Jonny's position in the album.

The live versions for most if not all of their songs are better. This is most true in my opinion for the 2003 live album. Specifically A Rush of Blood to the Head and Politik. I would give anything to see that in person

I agree in almost everything. Prime live shows for sure, last tour with absolutely no playback at all (I find disgusting the amount of playback MOTS has, waaay more than AHFOD tour, which was still acceptable). A medley nowadays with Lost-CoL-GPASUYF-Violet hill with that pace and scale from Main Square would be so aweosome!! The mylo xyloto tour would have been perfect if they added Speed of Sound in the main stage played in full version, and also, add 2 or 3 more songs to the normal setlist, which was a little short in my opinion (average show was 1:30 ish). Last, I disagree with Clocks, i think AHFOD and also Mots live version is better, guitar has more presence. But I agree, best tour for sure!
