Elektron Tonverk LEAK - Digitone Successor? | SYNTH NEWS

We have a leak of the Elektron Tonverk! On Reddit/Elektronauts, the possible Elektron Tonverk Synthesizer/groovebox has been leaked.

At the moment, there is only speculation as to what could be. Successor to the Octatrack, Analog Four, Digitone, or something completely new? Who knows.

Honestly, now is clear that this is a mega digitone II, the shape of the keys buttons and the green color are the main signs. I am sure this is not the final design, and for sure here there are samples and sampler, like in the machinedrum .

one nice feature that comes from the OT is the cue ( their are now 2 buttons on the right) : pretty sure you can monitor cued tracks from heaphones, very good live feature.
considering the page led missing I think it will be better held on the screen. It's confusing on DT 2 ( there is the page you looking the trigs at, the page currently playing, the pages that are active or not, the total length... ) It would be great to see all tracks playhead at the same time when you go polymetric. not sure thats' doable on an elektron screen
I'm also pretty sure there will be some synths engines (+ samples /sampling), my guess is 100 % digital ( maybe a couple analog filters ? In the buses ?)
I'm pretty sure there is a nice modulation revamp, definately the weak point on most machines. hopefully with an env follower
I also think there is a consequent sequencer revamp ( what's the motion layer when you have up to 48 parameters that can change at each step?), I hope the sequencer will be more suitale for melodies.
I hope workflow won't be to different / cumbersome. I like the "small" line more than the trinity for it's simplicity... and I hate the small differences between the boxes ( sample playback page on AR is horrible compared to DT, Why ? )

It's Elektron's version of a DSI Tempest. Subtractive synth engine fed by digital oscillators that play one shots, looped samples, and wavetables. To be accompanied by Elektron sample banks for every instrument and genre under the sun...$$$

I see concept of Motion Layers and Sequencing Layers. Presumably, this means stacking patterns on top of one another for each track. Thoughts?

I see that being an Analog Four 2. A lot of what is seen in the pictures are similar to A4 MK2 AND actually now some European stores are selling A4 MK2 on sale atm, which could be an indicator that they've heard something that warrants them to get rid of their A4 stocks. This is of course a total foil hat speculation, but I would not be surprised, if A4 MK2 would get discontinued in the near future. I don't believe this being a successor for Octatrack, as there are quite a few things missing, which make OT be OT and the fader is a big missing part.

Also be this what ever, mark my words: it will be the first Elektron device to hit the 2000e/$ (+ taxes) mark.

My bet is on it being a granular synth. I myself am a granular addict, and have several machines that are granular capable. Synthesis, and audio processing, in my stuff. Hologram Microcosm, Empress Effects Zoia, 1010music Blackbox, Nunomo Qun mk2, Roland P-6....
