DVC 210 JIB Crane review and test shots

A review of the ProAm DVC 210 Camera Jib Crane. 12' with extended camera plate.

After viewing this video I was contacted by ProAm with solutions to my slight problems. The T-handle knobs on the extended camera plate are supposed to be slightly smaller so they will not hit each other. (I tell you they really have a great product! and thought it out well!) Mine must have been an oversight. ProAm is sending replacements right away. They contacted me! THAT is customer service!!!

The Crane to Stand is a close tolerance fit for a good reason. I was instructed to check the plastic cap. EASY to correct, I just missed it.

This is my first experience assembling and using a jib crane. I chose this over the DVC200 because it has the camera mounted along the center line of the main boom.

Great review i got mines 4 days ago and i'm loving it. best investment i've made unlike my fly cam nano can't balance it for nothing and you need the jacket to hold it for a long time.

First time use and as mentioned I have Tremor quite bad...so some of it is that.
It is perfectly smooth in operation. My camera is pretty heavy so it is tough for my already shaking hands to operate it smooth.

I can see from 24:43 - 25:00, you manually adjusting the angle of the camera. It seems a bit sticky/jerky. Of course, I'm figuring this is the exterior sample of a newly acquire product, so you haven't had much practice. The reason I'm focusing on this part, is, I think that's a feature I really like, so would like your impression on that, after you've possibly had practice with the controls.

How big of a difference do you see in the 12' total extension. Is it worth the money to get the 4' add-on?
