Hello and welcome to Primetime - Watchmaking in the News. And it is the 70th edition of this show where we talk about news, trends, and obviously watches. Crazy how fast time flies and a massive thanks for being with us all these years and fuelling our enthusiasm with your comments and likes.

For this special issue, we prepared a lot of exciting stories: news from the industry, some updates about us too, upcoming watch fairs in Mexico, New York, and Singapore and, of course, new releases of watches.

I think that manufacturers contributing to environment and ecological causes has to be a good thing and it does teach us, the consumer that it is not necessary to pollute just because we can. Hello, You know for me it is one of the most enjoyable youtube videos I watch each month. I love your containt and subject as well as the way you and your small team but together videos. For me I am hoping that you continue for a long time. One day I hope to be able to get a Czpek or Parmigiani Fleurier This may be as I have got my hand on both or you have done videos on both companies. It may well be one of the other artisan watch makers? Keep well, keep safe and continue inspiring your dreams.

Thanks Marc for a real extensive overview of the what is happening in the watch world. Enjoyable from start to finish. The new Royal Oak is quite a jewel and nice that it is a sensible 37mm, Talking about watch books. Some of the catalogues by the exclusive watch companies are really beautiful works of art. Just apply for them online and it is possible to get them from Switzerland or Germany in a few days. On occasions one not only gets a catalogue but a really well made notebook with a matching ballpoint pen. After a few years they become collectors pieces. I have 15 years of IWC catalogues.I do own a
IWC so I have given something back

The decline is bling pieces will translate to an increase in auction prices for vintage pieces : better to spend $2M on a vintage Rolex worn by Anwar Sadat than a disco-ball of diamonds from certain brands…
