50 Cent - Intro (Get Rich or Die Tryin')

Get Rich or Die Tryin' is the debut studio album by American rapper 50 Cent. It was released on February 6, 2003, by Aftermath Entertainment, under a joint venture with Shady Records, and distributed by Interscope Records. The initial planned release was pushed seven days ahead, due to heavy bootlegging and internet leakage. The album's production was provided by Dr. Dre and Eminem; as well as guest appearances from Eminem and his G-Unit associates Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 872,000 copies in its first week. It has generated by four singles; including the number one hits "In da Club" and "21 Questions", and the international hit "P.I.M.P." as of 2016, Get Rich or Die Tryin' sold 8.4 million copies in the United States and is certified six times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Upon its release, the album received favorable reviews from most music critics and it was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, losing to OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (2003) at the 46th Grammy Awards. It ranked at number 37 on the Rolling Stone's list of the best albums of the 2000s.

Get Rich or Die Tryin' went nine-times platinum, making 50 the first rapper to sell a million for each time he had gotten shot.

This + What up gangsta is the hardest intro to a rap album that will ever be made. It just can’t get any better, humanly impossible.

In this intro, when 50 said "it's coin dropping time" and coin dropped all over the table, I cried.
Definitely one of the get rich or die tryings of all time.

If you didn't know Eminem and 50 flipped a coin to see which song went first on the album. Eminem won and In da club went first. So this intro is actually 🔥

This guy had In Da Club, P.I.M.P, Many Men, 21 Questions, Don't Push Me, Wanksta and If I can't all on his DEBUT album.

It was crazy when In Da Club came out, he was internationally EVERYWHERE. I'm not from the USA but he was big everywhere. Everyone knew immediately about him and the amount of absolute hits he kept dropping as music videos kept his hype going for years. Then he also had G-Unit, features with Eminem etc. It's crazy how many absolute hits 50 dropped.
