Thanks for sharing, mate! ~~~IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!
According to Dewalt Service Tech, "the pole saw (even brand new) MUST be stored horizontally with cap upright (cardboard piece under chain mechanism for extra protection) to prevent chain oil leakage. Otherwise, drain the chain oil if you're not willing to store in this recommended manner." I lost the entire oil reservoir twice upon 1st two usages because I stored it vertically in the box. Dewalt, IMO, should put this oil warning info in BOLD LETTERING under oil section of owner's manual. I had to call a Dewalt Service Center to get the skinny on this nugget of truth.

The safety switch is not a problem at all. I honestly don’t even notice when I’m using the pole saw. I also drain the remaining oil after each use as suggested in the manual. No problems with leaking. Love this pole saw!!

One thing that I have yet to find anywhere - what are the chain specs? Asking so I can determine if my current sharpening tools will work with it.

You're supposed to empty the oil tank after using it to keep it from leaking oil.

Mines fail, motor stop working after the 2nd day of use..( maybe defective motor?) got a full refund..
I am a senior citizen..use mines less then two hours a day, taking many breaks..disappointed..
The good part it did cut the tree branches that needed to ge cut..
A bit heavy, safety trigger can be annoying..

By I may get another one?

Hello, the package height is about 42 inches or less?. I will travel to the US but the airline cannot charge more than that high. Thx
