The only thing I have to blame to Cronenberg is that he didn't try more his hand at acting: he's pretty good and way better than many "full-time" actors.

1st time I watched Nightbreed as a teen it didn't seem particularly scary somehow. Yet it's resonation since does. David Cronenberg 's performance in this film is bone chilling.

I've got a question. The blurb states 40mins of new footage however the film only runs for 20mins longer. So what bits have they removed from the standard release and will they be releasing an ultimate version with all the footage in one film?
