I'm a church music director; when I first saw this performance back in the 90's, I was blown away. A wonderful interpretation of this Marian hymn. There is quite a bit of published church choral music that employs clapping, tambourine, and other percussion instruments that is always fun for a choir to do.

Every deer hunting season, all the aunts, my mom, some cousins, and I gathered at my maternal grandmother’s house while we ate food and watched this movie... it was a tradition...grandma loved Mother Superior—Maggie Smith. 💗

Every time we sing this during mass my dad and I start smiling and clapping silently. It makes me so happy every time😄

Why do I like this video ? ONE person took a chance, and a risk to show her "supervisor: that God is NOT boring ! I know this was just a movie, but when those people came off the street to find out what was going in in that Church!!!
