Excellent ago this topic "bit me in the behind" with an invention that was eventually licensed to The Toro Company. Someone added something that was completely useless to the invention that was included in the patent and then they informed me they also owned the patent (i.e., their day job was licensing university IP and it was my first licensed IP). Fortunately they came to their senses and crawled away. I am not a patent attorney but it seems like to be on the safe side leave the "handlebar streamers" completely out of the patent rather than just out of the great info and thanks!

Hi John .. feel pleased being a solo inventor 😊 i have to step through a process of taking my project global .. (it puts real pressure on my time line as i am pilot projecting and manufacturing and when proven will then later seek licensing ) you explain things amazingly i am sure others like me would love a vid summary of the global steps and time frame of course if and when you get time 🙏🙏

Hi John, Great video.

I have a quick question regarding joint inventors and provisional patents.

On the provisional patent sb0015a certification there is a checkbox labeled "There is more than one inventor and I am one of the inventors who are jointly identified as the applicant. The required additional certification form(s) signed by the other joint inventor(s) are included with this form." but it is unclear to me what "additional certification form(s)" they are referring to.

Thank you for the videos
