The trigger probably pulls back the plunger before it releases a catch or something. Twisting the knob at the bottom would adjust the length or stiffness of the spring.

No worries, my point was, with blasters like this, its more about RoF rather than range. There are many blasters that cater for higher ranges but lower RoF.

that is so awesome! I remember one of ur first vids.. the no-brand semi auto blaster. Nerf could have made such a blaster in 2007 or so!

oh. sorry ive been used to Using my thumb to pull the trigger on my underslung mavericks so i said thumb i was meaning to say index finger thanks for pointing that out. and also SgNerf also said that replacing the spring will make the snapfire harder to shoot thanks again for pointing that error on my previous comment :D

well if you have really strong thumbs (Like mine :D) you can replace the stock spring with a new one but the springs used there is really hard to find in my location

There's no re-priming system and the trigger looks quite long... does the trigger also prime the spring then? You would need strong fingers for that, especially if you modded it!

Well the chinese people who firstly leaked the snapfire told that you can maintain the snapfires high RoF and its long range by keeping the power and speed balanced so maybe range wont be a problem with that one i think people will stick to speed when it comes to short range battles and power when it comes to long range and the balanced option where middle range battles i personaly prefer blasters with high range and high RoF and looks like this will be the new blaster in my collection

Gonna buy two of these for dual wielding :3 PS: my friend and me will have a nerf war i told him i will use the rampage but i am gonna dual wield him by suprise! Cause he will think i move a lot slower with the rampage... FYI....

yes...yes it does. even with 4 more AA's wired into it, this blaster is smaller and more powerful than the Sswarm.

and faster firing lol. cant waite to pick up one and brass it.
