In a way, maybe. But that’s because for generations we all had this idea that princesses are naive, innocent, gentle, hopeless romantics etc. Idina has a very dynamic voice with many layers and is very POWERFUL which matches the character because she has....powers lol. I don’t think a stereotypical princess voice singing a gentle song would be suitable for the Let it Go sequence wherein she “lets the storm rage on”.

Those who change the game will leave a mark in history. Remember that.

Also, she’s not a princess. She’s a queen.
