Kawasaki makes the best motorcycles! I definitely prefer my 1000SX but I would not complain about this Versys.

I had a 2016 Versys 100 that I loved. I put 80, 000 km on it in 3 years, off and off pavement and had zero issues with it. I almost bought another but I like change and I wanted a little more off road capability so I bought a new 2021 BMW R1250GS. The GS suits my riding better but I could be very happy with a gen 3 Versys. It's too bad it's overlooked by so many people.

Actually look forward to your reviews... You do an excellent job covering things others skip.

Mine is 2020 SE LT with 36K mileage and I have traveled to entire Southern US. The maintenance is little expansive however still cheaper than most BMW bikes. I love my versys cause she never broke down on her 36kMileage journey and I believe I can keep her for another 36k miles worry free. I custom out mine for my height & weight. I am really looking forward to Next Generation of Versys. My only request to Versys Engineering Team is to add Shaft Drive, Beside that, this bike is more than capable of riding to any part of the Earth as long as you are on the paved road, I never tried off road cause she is a Touring bike not an Adventure as the Narrator mentioned in the beginning & can’t agree more on the Heated Grips switch. However I really love the heated grips cause they work so great once you figure out the Heating Level. If you own this Bike, I know you love this bike, if you looking to purchase this bike, I promise you won’t regret.
I do however use 20/80 Tires not cause I use her for light off roading but the life on those tires is better than street only tires.

I have Versys 650, love it and I can see myself upgrading to a 1000. I would prefer to try different model but Versys fit me so well. So I will have to put this in the 'if is not broken don't fix it' category

After test driving more than a dozen motorcycles I ended up buying a Versys 1000 S. By far one of the best tourers ever made, extremely well balanced and has a sporty nature that is quite fantastic. Handling is excelent, ergonomics are the best in its class and the fit and finish is outstanding compared with most of its competition.

I just bought an occasion Versys 1000 from 2013 with about 55k on the clock. The dealer is currently servicing it and fixing a few minor things I noticed during my test ride, and now I still have to wait three more days. Which I am filling with watching any review of any version of the Versys 1000 under the sun. Of which there are great amounts. The good news is, I keep seeing all the things that once made me fall in love with this bike when I had it as a loaner back in 2016 or so. Amazing seating position, great 2-up touring, juuust agressive enough to enjoy on the street without constantly feeling like you're missing out (like on all those more sporty/race-y competitors), and that seat man, that seat... Opinions differ but I test-drove a newer version as well and I don't much care for any other electronics than ABS and maybe TC, which is on the 2013, so I guess I'm good! :) So thanks, you helped pass the time. I am so looking forward to moving my 2003 Deauville 650 into the spare bike spot and get rolling! :)

Thank hou for sharing! Very nice and detailed content. I have one question not for the bike but about the side pannier and top box, are they available from kawasaki dealership in canada or US? Reason why i asked is that this bike was not release here in Philippines with these boxes. So i’m planning to purchase the original kawasaki boxes. They looked pretty cool unlike the after market boxes that are squared and bulky. Thank you in advance to advise. 🙏 safe travel

I see the Versys 1000 used bikes with 30-50, 000 miles on them . Same with some BMWs. Most other the tourers like Ducati Multistrada have low mileage. Says a lot about the quality, customer acceptance and longevity of these brands over others.

11:31 I have a 2022 V1000 and the quick shift only works on the up shift, not down. Did Kawasaki change that?

Can the cornering lights serve as a DRL role during daylight for extra visibility?

Hey man! I’m hoping you can answer I’m Interested in buying this bike or the tracer by Yamaha. Does kawi bike offer turn by turn nav? I’m having so much trouble riding my bike here in Florida when it rains using my phone as navigation but when the water collects on my phone it pushes every button possible and I’m just riding blind. I really want to own versys1K but I need better navigation any tips or tricks please help a new rider out 🤙🏾

Great video. I am looking for a touring bike for my wife and me. I am a longtime Kawasaki rider (KLR650 nearly 18 years). I have to ask what is the weight capacity? For some reason I seem to have a hard time finding that info for most bikes. As we get older...that stat is more important to us. :)

you need to show both sides of the bike. what's up with parking close to the wall hiding the dark side?

Tbh.. the incandescent turn signal is more noticeable at day time than that of Led.

Just buy a used one at a few years old so you don't get unnecessarily gouged with money.
