Coming from a Gorillaz fan, let me say I love what they did here. They went in a direction I would have never expected or could have imagined. They took some risks and IMHO, it payed off.

Nuts ... these guys are magic. Nai is such a fantastic singer - my favorite female vocalist at the moment, Simon is a boss on keyed things - I love watching him play, Paul ... seriously man, one hell of a bass player and Perrin is such an interesting and talented drummer. I love what they are doing.

I think Hiatus Kaiyote smashed it, what an amazingly talented band! I saw them at Woodford this year and was one of the best performances I have ever seen!

I really don't see how any of this tune is "all over the place" or even that weird. Maybe you cats outta listen to more jazz and soul as that's where a lot of this is coming. That and let go of the original version, that really isn't the point.

I don't get why so many people dislike it ... well actually if your ears are conditioned to enjoy only a certain type of structure then I can see why you wouldn't like this gem.
