For those who have come for the equilibrium sort of thing...
Questions means to say that its wrt to platform that means that if we see the person while standing on platform it appears stationary which eventually means that both the platform and the man are moving the same acceleration and in the same direction...
This is what I have interpreted....hope it's correct

Torque should also be taken in consideration, it's not given that the length of the platform is very small compared to height of man.

Why you have taken man + platform as system while in all other questions you have not taken this
And if you are considering man + platform as system then why you have not taken weight of plateform as force
