Hearing you talk about stress management, being overwhelmed, triggered, and your do nothing video is so validating for me. 2024 was an awful year for me that was full of anxiety and panic attacks. I did not enjoy my job and was having the Sunday scaries every single night before work. Then in late September someone close to me suddenly passed away which really shook me. In early November I was fired and the immediate sense of relief and peace was shocking. I felt like I had shed a huge weight I didn't even know I was carrying. I'm a single income household and am not wealthy by any means but none of that even mattered to me. I felt free, and I could finally get a good nights sleep. I also made the decision to do nothing for at least a month and give myself time to recenter and take care of myself. Now two months later I have lost 18 lbs without trying, visited my sister and brother in another state for an extended holiday stay, andI have decided to move here which I have been considering for years. I am so excited and relaxed entering the new year and I feel like a totally different person.

Stress management is the real struggle for me. I have been diagnosed with GAD and been on medication for it for years, which helps immensely, but I’m still just a naturally anxious person and it takes a toll on you. I’m on a mission to redesign my life to be a beautiful, calm, happy place.

I’m not the target audience but you’ve really helped and inspired me recently. I have been taking better care of myself - RLT, following protocols suggest from the gurus, and generally being kinder to myself. We consume a lot of the same media and I was shocked at how simple the advice was, it is a shame there isn’t a silver bullet. Just time and discipline. I’ve stayed sober since Boxing Day as I don’t have time to be hungover. This has the added fact of alcohol not ruining my other health and fitness goals

My goal is finding balance! I’m 30 almost 31 and I work full time and I’ve gone back to school. Last semester I stopped working out because I wasn’t balancing things in my life to make sure I was set up to take care of myself and I refuse to fall back into that pattern when this next semester starts so my goal is balance 😊
