A new milkshake flavour… 👀

Where I am they have been around for a while, they are so good!

What I still always think about is I worked for a freshens/ Mrs.fields combo store and we made these cookie and cream chillers ( you can look them up they still exist). You either picked one big cookie or 3 nibbblers that you would get blended in, we used milkshake mix, ice, cookies of choice, whip cream and sometimes other items. ( there’s was plenty of stuff we explored making lol ) and they’re sooo good. They’re lighter cause it’s not made with soft serve but instead the milkshake mix, and ice to make “thicker “, with those occasional pieces of cookie popping in if a thicker blend or a little thinner if they reallly mixed the cookie in then you get it in every sip ( if you picked the bigger cookies something the chocolate chips or nuts would get stuck( or come blasting solo through the straw))which is why I went with 3 nibblers usually, that way I get the cookie in more AND what they do unless you ask them to just throw it in is either save a nibbler or piece of the big cookie you chose and blend the rest so at the top you get a drizzle ( if you wanted ) of your choice of chocolate or caramel (sometimes white chocolate) drizzle, that could also be blended, and they rest the cookie piece/ nibbler on top of that, what peeks out of the lids center for a snack and the look, so I also get to have my little appealing looking drink that’s a good mix and little snack that’s not a partial cookie ( which would leave me wanting the rest of the cookie most times even though the nibbles are small).

They’re so good and at least that’s how we made em where I was at haha. I always did it a little different, in benefit of the customer. Like honestly the nibblers were small so if they were all the same flavor I would do one large and still do the 1 on top, if it was mix I would throw the three they wanted in and the one they wanted on top still on top or give ‘em some on the side if they wanted. Whatever to make em happy end get to enjoy that drink. I remember a field trip one day and getting 30 5th graders wanting them at once 😭 with 2 blenders or the smoothies from freshens side. I about died. Luckily the last kid collected other kids change to run me back a 20$ tip 🥲
