How to Fix the Install VMware Tools Greyed Out Issue in VMware Workstation Professional

If you use VMware Workstation and find that you are unable to install VMware Tools after configuring your virtual machine, you might want to try the fix shown in this video. If you are using VMware Player, you can try to remove and re-add the CD\DVD drive to see if that gets the VMware Tools installation working again.
