A different take on a mole hill, I have always collected the soil from mole hills and used them for starting my tomatoes, they bring nutrients up from the soil and get your tomatoes of to a good start, wonderful little gardeners.
Give it a try.

I recently bought myself a small 3.5cf freezer and it has been life changing. The money I've saved buying things on sale will pay for the freezer.

Also buy yourself a chest freezer and put it in one of your other buildings.
If your garden produces really good you have space to store it, also it’s really good to buy in bulk when you see a really good offer at the grocery shop.

I have used e-spares before, great company. I bought a replacement grill element for my cooker, came well packaged and I fitted it myself, I saved a fortune on call out charges. 😂

I don’t know if you’ll ever see this as I’m writing 23/01/25. I have five grandchildren, all siblings and great grandchildren with ADHD. It makes life interesting at times. There are 5 types of ADHD . Two sisters are the forgetting ones ( working memory disorder ) . A 5 minute turnaround. These two also like small enclosed spaces. I’m an open plan person with windows and doors wide open. This annoys them (they live with me) .they keep everything shut and have too much in their bedrooms. Well in my mind. The 3rd sister has the memory of an elephant but she too values small enclosed areas.
Like you these girls shine when it comes to working with their hands, their wide range of artistic skills are amazing, they can put together a flatpack while I’m still struggling to read the instructions Their love, care and understanding of animals is wonderful to see. I so appreciate watching you and your achievements. It’s sad that ADHD causes such deep hurt over rejection or being misunderstood. 💕

Ahhh marc, hope ur back to normal very soon, i know things get us down, but things will get better for you, thankyou 4 showing where ur chicken house is, couldnt make it out properly before, yeahh, get a freezer, when you buy abit bigger packs, bag them into portion sizes n bag em up and label them in ur freezer, i do all time n if you only want 2 slices of bread, take 2 out .let it defrost n then rest is in freezer, stayin fresh, love ur videos, oooo Happy easter

Today was a great day, it was warm and sunny yippee!. I have a upright freezer and it's great to do a batch of dinners. So when you don't feel like cooking you can just choose 🙂.Saves me money as well. I grow my own veg and i blanch them and freeze. All good. Take care be happy 🙂

I do freeze meat and vegetables, so a freezer is a good investment. If you keep the freezer full, it works more efficiently. Sorry about your family news . Stay positive and have a good weekend.

I have a small freezer and love it. I want to can, but don’t have the storage.
I have no idea what you are doing to your living room and kitchen 😂. ( I would make it all open plan. You have a wood stove to heat the room, plus if you can, install floor heating, that would help) 😊

If you can get hold of urine soaked cat litter and/or cat poo then dig out a small hole deep into mole hills tip it in and stamp the area down flat. Moles can smell a predator a mile off and will soon disappear. We've done this for yrs in our pony field and it's worked a treat. Keep smiling Marc.

I dehydrate some foods .Pips Living Off Grid (They are on break currently) use a passive sun/air drying rack to dehydrate produce. I also like to can foods. The easiest thing to start with is high acidic foos, as you can water bath can them. (tomatoes, jam, etc) Just need a pot with a lid thats tall enough for the jars. I understand canning and canning jars are different over your side of the pond, so I'm sure locals can help you out with that.
