07/01/2025 – Wintry conditions continue – Afternoon Weather Forecast UK – Met Office Weather

Wintry showers continue in the north of the UK this afternoon, with snow accumulating in Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern parts of England and Wales. A bitter wind will keep it chilly especially in the far north. Sunshine and cloudy spells in the south where it will be slightly milder but turning cold into the evening. Feeling cold for all overnight, except for some areas in the far southwest. - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the afternoon of 07/01/2025. No snow in East Anglia, but I don’t want it, it is bad enough as it is, it is freezing cold. Roll on spring and end of March, when the clocks go forward, I always look forward to that and the approach of spring/summer time.

Woke up to more snow in Liverpool despite it not being forecast! Weird day today with blue skies, red skies, more snow, hail, rain and a bit of sun.

We had several inches of snow fall this morning in Cheshire, the snow is quite thick & the roads too have snow on them which is beginning to freeze, so be very careful driving into Cheshire & south Manchester as conditions are hazardous.

Did you see that tiny spot on the map where it never snows, That’s where I live.. last time we saw snow was 2012, so please, stop saying it’s going to snow, coz it never does…

We have had some snow and rain this morning but the sun is now coming through the clouds now but the snow in still frozen on the ground still it did clear up yesterday but more snow last night that’s put paid to that
