JD Vance's Wife Usha Defends His "Childless Cat Ladies" Comment | Firstpost America

Republican vice presidential nominee and Ohio Senator JD Vance is being criticised for his controversial remarks about "childless cat ladies" that he made three years ago. He said that such ladies have miserable lives and want their country to be miserable as well. Vance also targeted Vice President Kamala Harris and Democratic Congresswoman AOC in his remarks. Now, Vance's wife Usha Vance has defended his comments, saying her husband made a "quip" that was taken out of context. She said Vance could never say something to hurt someone who is trying to have children. Vance himself has said that people mostly focused on his sarcasm, but he meant to argue that Democrats are "anti-family."

Question for Usha: Your husband seeks to excuse himself from all his previous very derogatory and very public comments he has made about Trump, by saying that this was all before he actually knew Trump.

Is your husband telling a bare faced lies when he uses this excuse? Or is he actually telling the truth here and therefore conceding that he is just inclined to completely run off at the mouth in public about things and people that he knows almost nothing about?

In response to Vance’s wife’s comment that her husband only meant to offend people not having kids by choice, not the ones trying, but still childless- So, I choose not to have children for good reasons, like the planet has been overpopulated since the 60’s, and I still do my part and pay taxes for schools for other people’s kids, and I’m the problem??!
