AMD Gaming Evolved RAPTR audio sync problem & Solution

This is only a temporary solution to the audio sync problem with this otherwise excellent recording software from AMD.

Thank you for posting this video Pemby. I was wondering if the issue was just something with my computer or a result of the 14.12 patch. Looks like the patch is the cause. They need to address this quickly; it was working flawless prior to this.

Hmm... I had hoped this was a fix to sort out the actual issue and not fix it after recording.  I have 53 videos recorded from Raptr and this issue for me only started happening about a week ago.

It takes a bit to set up and will not record passively, but you'll get great quality and control.

I'm still getting it. I record my mic and game and the game and my friend speaking is out of sync and so is my mic and because it records the audio and throws it into 1 channel I have no way of fixing it. So annoying and the update it seems has fixed nothing. Not impressed by AMD's lack of support for this utility, the updates seem to never come out at all.

My videos playback fine in any media player. But only when I open them in premiere pro for editing does the audio and video get out of sync...the minute I Import the files its all out of sync. This never happened when I recorded with FRAPS. Even if I sync it at one spot, its out of sync elsewhere as well, so I might have to clip the video many times to make it align correct, which is just rubbish.

Its now 2016 and this is still a problem. All AMD has done about it is put up a disclaimer with a stupid excuse as to why it happens. Interesting you don't get this with other software but AMD can't get their heads out of their asses long enough to know this should be their number 1 problem to work on.

Yea.. my audio is also out of sync by 300ms, not a huge deal it takes just a second to sync back on Sony vegas, but it's still kind of annoying, also i can't record at 60 fps, it jerks and glitches with artefacts way too much even though my game runs above 80 fps all the time

granted this works, however it is by no means a solution, more of a workaround for people who have this kind of software.

Does it seem to always be offset by the same amount? IE do you always have to make the same adjustment to the audio or video in seconds? That could make things simpler if you don't have to manually align the audio every time.

Hi, I got 15 sec mic audio out of sync. All the game sounds and my friends talking is fine but my voice is out of sync, is there any way to fix this and do you have then same problem?

I bet the best tech guy there at AMD can't get my launcher to stream or dvr for either wow or lol games.Windows 10 streaming set to 50% on last checklist all the correct settings the file menu files with all the attributes read only deselected.Now company if you left your setting alone the first time dvr and twitch options became availible then you wouldn't have so many pissed off people.You offer no help to these people that bought this brand of vid card/computer.What are you enron lol, better get your act together or complaints will be registered with the BBB.
