i agree with your take jake, it's unfortunate that prismatic evolution really overshadowed the upcoming release of surging sparks, surging looks like a really solid set!

I don’t really buy any booster boxes of any sets anymore. I buy the Pokemon center ETB, just one. After that if I don’t pull what I wanted I buy it. Buying the ETB is to acquire the promo card with the logo and to fulfill the small pack opening itch per set. 😅

You baked jake. Many sources have had their allocations cut down especially for the booster boxes. Supply is very low and pokemon would really need to print a lot of it but the time of finding booster boxes for less than 100$ is over. Demand is too high.

pre-ordered my first ever boosterbox with surging sparks so was really excited. Got an e-mail this morning that the website I ordered from was just told they're not receiving everything they ordered so he's unsure when he will be able to ship all the pre-orders : (
