Welcome to Eurovision this week. This is your update of the 23rd of April! There is only one and a half week left until the first delegations will rehearse in Tel Aviv. The preparations in the venue continue, and everything is nearly ready to welcome the artists on stage!

Michael Rice released a music video for his song Bigger Than Us.

Twenty-Two of this years artists met in Spain for their next stop on the promo tour. They were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of Spanish and international fans in Madrid. Next up is Moscow.

For all of you wondering about the rehearsals, cyprus will be there in 8 or 9 days for their rehearsals so the rehearsals will probably be announced in the next few days

Hey ESC/EBU: Since LOGO TV won’t be airing the contest live on its channel this year in the US (so I’ve canceled my subscription as the ESC was the only reason I had it), will you be making it possible for US fans to watch live via your website or YouTube or something. Rumor has it Netflix might and I do have a subscription to Netflix. If we cannot watch it live, will you maybe make a North American region DVD/Bluray available to purchase the live show or make it available to purchase on iTunes? For me, I love the music, but the best part is getting to see the staging and live performances of the songs (well at least that make it to the grand final since that’s all I ever got to watch so definitely curious about the songs that didn’t make it of course). Keep up the great work! ESC is a bright spot in my year and learning it won’t be broadcasted this year here in the US saddens me.
