When people think of Riot, they think of Misery Business, crushcrushcrush and That’s What You Get, but honestly, this is really one of the best songs on it.

This is their most underrated song in my opinion. It's also pretty unique too. A lot of emo and pop punk songs deal with negative subject matter like breakups, loneliness, depression, or anxiety. Paramore are no strangers to this. However, "Miracle" is all about not being afraid to take chances to make yourself happy and live the best life you can live. It's a song about freedom and personal liberation from the anxieties that hold you back. And it still has that angsty rocking groove that makes it sound so grand, motivational, and even spiritual. I love this song so much.

Is it weird I’m going through a Paramore phase at 23? Obviously I always knew about them, my best friend was obsessed with them in the 7th grade and I liked their singles but just didn’t care that much lol. I finally deep dived into every album and realized how consistently good everything is.... better late than never, and at least the lyrics are way more relevant to adult me than they would have been to teenage me. But I wish I had that nostalgia former emo/scene kids get when they listen to old paramore 😔
