Sizing all depends on the cut and material of the item- i used to worry over sizing but have realized that size does not matter, it is whether or not the item is flattering on ones body

There are girls who are a size 26 who wish they were a size 20. Women who are a size 18 who wish they could be a size 12/14. I think it boils down to no one wanting to feel like their triumph is the equivalent to someone else's failure. When we start mentioning sizes it will always touch a nerve. Especially when someone mentions what size they want to be.I saw the comment and I understand how the lady could have felt that way but also that you didn't mean it like that. Personally I think everyone should empathize.

It is ridiculous how much sizes change per store, and even within stores. In some places and in some clothes I'm a 6, I can usually get away with and 8. But if it's tight fitting a 10. But I have tried on some things where a 12 is too small. It's crazy. Like a 6-12 is not a normal size range, ridiculous that it can't just be standard.

I really enjoyed this video it was a good topic to discuss. I always just ignore what the labels say with regards for the size and go for what fits! we all have had times when we go shopping and are like ooh this size doesn't fit whats going etc have I put on weight

Also, when someone shows that they feel negatively about their size or body it can often lead others believe that the person may be judgmental about the size or body of other people.

I have recently moved to Ireland from Argentina and I am not skinny (used to be). Size is crazy. At least here and in UK I can get clothes my size or a bigger one (add to the fact that I do not like looking like a salami skin tight look). In Argentina being slimmer I could barely fit a size 30 or 32 in jeans. Here I fit perfectly in those sizes and smaller. I agree it does not make sense how sizes are all over the place on brands. Some time ago going a size up or down meant you were 4 kilos lighter or heavier. I'm on the longer shape body (not super tall but long arms and legs) and I have a bum (not Kardashian size) so it's kinda weird to find what I want. BUT I have the choice to find what I want here!! long, tall, petite. THANK YOU. Size may matter or may not, FIT matters, and you should not apologize for people who have a chip on their shoulders :) xoxo

Just so you know and I don't know how it helps or whatever but as a bigger woman from America, your size is still considered skinny over here. A 6 or 8 in America is still under half the size of the average American woman which is what you would be over here. Also you're beautiful I know body confidence is hard but you really truly are

Are the UK sizes the same in the US? I'm usually a 10, but am currently a 12 as well. And as for the twats that complain about you saying what size you bought, screw her. Don't even take time out to explain it because it's useless. People just want to complain because their lives are miserable. You're doing a fantastic job here on YouTube, so don't take it to heart. 😘☺️
