What legionnaire strong???? As a fenix main with 80% wr that's very much wrong.
Tips to be a better fenix main in ds
1) Only 1 gas in position 2/3 and skip gas and put down adept/conservator for mid line wave 1 and rush t2 for Fenix and never gas again after the first gas. Fenix doesn't profit off it much. At best 2 gas for a expected long game
3) micro micro micro, you'll need a lot of disruptor
2) Disable f3 and rush dragoon form fenix for anything but stukov bunker.
3) Going for talis+warbringer+taldarin is a solid strat sometimes
4) Kaldalis and Legionnaires are bad against most commanders. Of course there are times to get them but most of the time, you do not want to make it. Kaldalis is great against mengsk (and is mainly your only dps since emp from es ruins fenix atm) and decent against tychus when you use it as additional dps from behind.
The general flow of the game when played as well is
Fenix > abathur early game
Fenix >Abathur mid
Abathur = Fenix late-mid ish
Abathur > Fenix late game in the air as fenix air is horrendously weak compared to abathur.

i dont know where to start with this video:
1. Fenix should have made adepts to counter the mutralisks and sentry to counter the roach
2. If you would have made swarm hosts he should have countered with Disruptors
3. When you go for Guardians he will counter with scouts and Carriers and at that point its game over for you
4. Zagara was pretty useless and so was Stukov

The Slug air is always MVP... as long as it's in capable hands. I'd love to see you in an opportunity, when ground is a viable strategy.

fenix has some of the worst anti air options out of all the commanders. Only thing he can do is mass adepts and plop shields down. Vipers will force them to march out of the bubble while you whale on their face for 2 whole seconds.

# Abathur Roaches are really tanky. They can even work against Anti-Armor units - if they get to directly attack them! In that case, the slowed attack speed allows them to offset their vulnerability to the weapon.
Among the best counter vs Abathur roaches is burst-type damage. Attacks with 50+ damage vs Armored. Siege Tanks, Immortals, Suicide Exploders, Alpha Strike abiliies, that sort of thing. The high damage makes certain the Roaches do not get a lot of mileage out of their quick regeneration and high armor.
# Of course something way more dangerous is Abathurs airforce. Anti-armor mutalisks. Devourers. Guardians. A very powerfull airforce.
# With Fenix the rule is that his Hero Units (other then Fenix himself) should only be deployed if you have or are getting 4-5 of the normal versions. Without those nearby, the heroic ability does not reach it's full potential.
# One option in Abathur v Fenix is for Abathur to stay on the ground. Fenix Scouts only deal bonus damage vs light ground unit, wich Abathur does not have. While Queens and the Brutalisks can shoot ground to air.

I'm not a fan of playing as either Abathur or Fenix. Although Fenix should be able to at least check mass mutas by using the abilities of fenix and some of its heroes, at least for a while before the mutas reach critical mass.

So here's a matchup I'm having problems with Karax vs Reynor. If Reynor deploys BCs the only AA is Mirage...but BCs for tanking + vikings deletes mirage. It may take a while but it does (I have seen this on both sides). The only alternative I see is the mc from the sentry-standin, but you can only realistically get in range of the BCs and BC vs BC is a terrible matchup (deals no to very little damage). Anyone out there who can help me?
