Cisco Small Business RV082 10/100 8-port VPN router #teardown

Almost cut myself a few times on this one. Probably one of the more dangerous things I have worked on on camera. Mostly because of all the sharp edges and exploding pieces of plastic. This was not meant to be repairable. I wonder what kind of issues the internal CMOS battery caused for people who used these. The Cavium Octeon Plus chip wasn't too surprising I suppose since this can do VPN stuff. Also the Silverstone power supply was a nice surprise.

;-) I had some of those like 6 yrs ago, you have the 'new' version with the Cavium Chip, the older version had an Intel 425, IIRC. Weren't bad for their Time, much better than the cheaper Netgear home-quality Stuff
