Filmed at the Tokoroa Airfield (NZTO) in Tokoroa, New Zealand, here are two very different jet powered aircraft -- can you name them?

Great images! The first one is the Saber (F-86) and the second is the Tucano (T-27)! my favorite turbo helice plane, this model are painted with the colors of the acrobatic pilots "Esquadrilha da fumaça" By the way Brazil is my country.

Well that last one was a lot bigger than I thought.

Great footage as always Bruce. Easy first plane being the F86 Sabre. The second one I think its a Pilatus as I recall Tucano has straighter. lines.

Did you know that the Aussies made the Yank Sabre much better?? Instead of the "spray and pray" machine guns we had Cannon and a bigger turbine, modifying the fuse to fit that also. The "Avon" Sabre :P :P Was going to be my first turbine but had to learn to walk before I could run so got a Boomerang Ranger. One of the best first turbine jets out there in my opinion! :)

The first on your video is the F-86 Sabre (Corea War) but the yellow blue one seems to me a Tucano bun i'm not really sure. indeed two model masterpieces

I saw a fabulous F86 a couple years ago at the Toledo RC Show. It was scratch built by a young lady and completely covered in Aluminum (Aluminium) skin, attached with the appropriately sized rivets. Would love to have seen it fly, but way too blustery a day for that.

The first one is a McDonnell Douglas F-86 fighter from the 50's. I don't know what the turbo prop one is though.

F-86 and a Tucano. No way to tell what the 'real life' one was at the beginning.
