The paradiddle diddle is a super versatile and fun rudiment and a favorite rudiment among many drummers. In this video I'm demonstrating some of the ways that I like to use it. I hope you'll enjoy this rudiment as much as I do!

If you like this video please check out my other drum lessons, there are many more on my Youtube channel. If you like rudiments in 6 check out my previous lesson about the double paradiddle.

After watching two of your videos, I subscribed at the age of 72. I’m going to play my mint vintage Ludwig’s again! Thank you for showing those paradiddles that I learned many years ago. Maybe now I can play them again around my kit.

I am really enjoying your lessons. I am a decent intermediate drummer who already knows some of these applications, but your ideas are inspiring. You are helping me take things to a new level.

After all these years I realised paradiddles are just the sticks vibrating off the drums in a certain rhythmic pattern

Hi! I see you also have a Yamaha DX Multi-12 Pad. Can you please do an in-depth video about it & also a live performance video of it? Many thanks! Jim from Glasgow, Scotland. I also play Roland drums in a church worship group. ✝️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
