You guys are all so cute but as a professional ballet dancer and teacher, this video terrified me a bit haha!! Pointe work is incredibly dangerous without the proper training and conditioning. To go from never doing pointe work before to trying pique turns, chaines, pirouettes, or even just center work in general is very risky and unsafe. Props to Brooklyn & Bailey for being willing to try something new, but watching them barely get over their boxes (the square-shaped base of the pointe shoe) the majority of the time (especially in the center) is one of the scariest things to watch as a teacher. It's a clear indication that they don't have enough strength to execute those moves safely (which I totally understand them not having enough strength considering they don't have any training)!! I'm not trying to hate on you guys or be negative for no reason, I almost didn't say anything, but it genuinely bothered me a lot. For any young dancers out there, PLEASE be careful and DON'T try to attempt certain moves before you're ready!! Take the PROPER TIME to strengthen and condition your muscles UNDERNEATH professional guidance. You could actually hurt yourself if you don't:/

So I'm a ballet dancer and I dance en pointe and I'm not going to lie, I was a bit concerned about them going on pointe especially in shoes that are not fitted for them. However I will say that they actually weren't bad at all for it being their first time en pointe.

Oh man this was so painful to watch, especially seeing Brooklyn and Bailey struggling to get over the box XD 
Also the fact that, while they were wearing shoes that were the same size, there are SO many different kinds of pointe shoes! There are so many styles and lengths and widths to choose from to make sure that pointe is as easy and as comfortable as possible. It's really important to be properly fitted by a professional to ensure maximum comfort and to avoid injury and unnecessarily difficulty.
I'm a ballet dancer, I've been dancing for 10 years and I've been on pointe for 5, and oh my golly goodness, I know this is just for fun and entertainment, but please PLEASE don't try this at home! No hate to any of the girls, but some disclaimers in future would probably be a good idea. Pointe really isn't something to take lightly.

I cannot believe this was their first time. Bailey was a natural! And Brooklyn was really good as well, she just had to think about it more (like most people for the first time doing something). I was not that good when I first did pointe.

Honestly for having never done pointe and minimal ballet, those releves in 5th were so good!

As a dancer for 11 years and pointe for four, they were pretty good for the first time!! They have really good natural turnout too.

Ummm…….. the fact that they never got fitted for pointe shoes! I’ve been 2 years en pointe and even if you are the same size, there a lot of other factor to consider like width and strength and hardness, and if not fitted correctly that’s dangerous! I mean what they are doing is dangerous anyways 😂, no hate though, I’ve been watching these sets of twins forever and I love them and love that they did this for ussss❤️ they did say that it is dangerous and that they are just doing it for our entertainment! Thanks 🫶🏽
