I also just dont understand why men would want to inflict pain and suffering on their wives. Why would you abuse your own wife who is given to you as a gift from Allah. I can't really understand why women would deny their husbands their physical needs cuz its also good for the woman and the connection between both husband and wife and increases the love between the 2 but i understand if there is a deeper issue at hand such as conflicts and disagreements or when your husband disrespects you and makes you feel miserable. Thats also a valid reason to deny access

But I Don't still understand the philosophy of this small stick. If there us to be a sequence it must go in crescendo.
1.endeavours by the way of tongue: dialogue and discussion.then if it fails
2.physical separation :in order the spouse to understand more deeply.
So the 3rd step should be logically be more intense. That us why the tooth stick is for me hard to understand as a way of warning or admonition.
It seems a little bit ridiculous.
It doesn't fit with the educational psychological principles of education:which is can be resume par taking progressive and graduated steps beginning with the softer one and finishing with the harsh one.
So, to resume :this point is still unclear for me and i have read and listen a lot about it.
