How bout a grenade launcher like MW2 characters have? He can only bring 2. Thematically, it would represent the cannons on Black Beard's ship.

i have an idea for blackbeard thats a bit more wild but i think is an interesting idea and he can have a unique shield identity:
have a deployable arm shield, think percy jackson style that he can use like the other shields where he can shoot with his pistol and give him oryx dash with it and maybe he can dash through soft walls or make valtable holes(id say no to this part) but he puts the shield in front of his face making so he cant see while dashing and maybe a little after where he's going except on the bottom, it would make his pushes very interesting and he wouldn't be overpowered because he doesn't have a flash like blitz does and he cant kill immediately after like oryx can if they allowed it to have the down effect like oryx. and his feet(maybe his lower body) can be shot while he does it. it also makes it so he has to decide between his automatic rifle or his pistol in the situations he needs to, perhaps he can deploy his shield while rappelled as well but he cant shoot in that position. it also gives the devs wiggle room on nerfs/buffs/quality of life if he turns out to weak or strong.
it was just a random idea i had when most people thought osa should of been blackbeards rework and i looked at osa and other shield operators and kind of thought of the lightning thief shield as its a "deployable shield" but its not deployable in the sense that its put on the ground rather he can switch between his main gun and not have the shield out or he can have the shield and the pistol or he can just have the shield on windows. the main issue now would be would he ever use his main automatic in trade for not using the shield and deg? in any case i think it would give him a unique shield ability like he was before without being overpowered(i hope).

Awesome ideas, but the second idea doesn't work anymore ever since osa existed
