For many Kenyans the USA brings with it a lot of opportunities. But for one Kenyan in Seattle, this opportunity came with a side hustle. He is growing traditional vegetables that he sells to the Kenyan community abroad. Denis Otieno tells us more in this week's Smart Farm

Nice work but why not make your own 'organic' compost from vegetables? I'm not a farmer just curious.
Soil in america has no beneficial minerals and the manure you get from cows is 'contaminated' with chemicals like antibiotics.

Hope he  is harvesting rain water for farming. Otherwise it would  be a very financially costly venture.
