Robert and Cynthia Thomas say they are happily married - except when the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns square off. At that point, they have no regard for their marriage of 42 years. Robert said it gets to a point when they cannot exist in the same room together. Their rivalry became so intense recently that Cynthia put Robert's Jim Brown jersey in the washer with bleach.
