So clear to watch thanks. You can do this with 2 1/2" squares to get tiny 1" squares to join and cut out for an applique or using scraps .

My biggest problem with sewing 4 little squares together was getting the center right. But I saw this earlier on your channel I think. Once I did it, it turned out perfect. Even if they were a little off, well that's what squaring up is for lol.

Im making these 4 patcb squares tomorrow just for fun to see what i come with. Im 75 and have never made a quilt but im cutting one out now with square in a square with 5 inch and 10 inch square. Its fun. But this looks like a really fun way to make some cute squares

It would be soooo much easier to see the first measurement if a " search quilting tutorial" bar wasn't in the way!! I know it's 2 1/2 in. Nice results tho 😊
