Can we take a second to recognize the volume of… not just content, but actual work and quality work that rebel wisdom has produced in its growth as a channel and as an online community.

Serious kudos and appreciation to your team for being a resource to those of us who truly want a better future and are working on ourselves too achieve that.

This channel gives me hope and feeling of purpose and often feels like a seed or a chrysalis of something new and good.

Merry Christmas… ❤️

You've already given a great gift with an open comment section, something that will increasingly disappear as people increasingly abandon the concept of likelihood.

These distinctions are somewhat wrongheaded, which also applies to other related labels such as "Game B". Essentially what you call "sensemaking" is actually "sense matching", hence the wrongheadedness. I don't think you know what sensemaking is. It's actually rather easy to at least communicate where you might have gone wrong. You know you have five senses (I'd call them exterior senses): sight, hearing, touch, smell (osmic), and taste. (Touch isn't actually a sense, but the interplay of senses, so that aspect of the conventional wisdom is incorrect.) Some people also add proprioception. In addition you have 4 interior senses, two of which are rather well known: memory and imagination. Besides that you have a common or root sense (sensus communis), which is sort of where all the senses meet and resonate, and estimative or cogitative reason, which is a kind of filter through which all perception is routed. That's where meaning is formed. Those are all human senses. Now, suppose you discover or invent or create a sense that isn't on anyone's a priori list... *That's "sensemaking"* ! It's not matching, because you're not trying to give meaning to what is already known or perceived.

Also the three categories you've outlined are another flop. My guess is you got them from Forest Landry or they're interpolated from Wilber. What's useful about them is that they vaguely touch on the notion of "grammar" and that's good. But the way they're used is Kantian, which is to say modernist. They're like a temporary dressing to cover a wound, but other than a covering they're not part of the healing. For instance the real nature of "objective" is not "third person perspective" but "the thing, *as known* . The as known part is critical, because "the thing" is a subject, not an object. It exists independently of you. The object does not. The object requires a knower, it's *made* by the knower--in league with the subject. Landry has this wrong which distorts most of what he has to say. "What the term "object" says imperfectly and vaguely, the term "significate" says precisely and clearly." - John Deely.

The way you use these terms triggers in me the sense of marketing and promotion, not the sense of sense. I'm sorry. I've tried to be sensitive and understanding toward you guys, but you're off on your own tangent and I've just given up on subtlety. Perhaps our paths will converge one day...
