I luv, luv this scene <3. Tommy was oozing with happiness and elated joy knowing that he finally got what he truly wanted : Grace and a family. I truly believe that Tommy was the most loved when he was with Grace. She made him feel like "the man" and had faith in him. The fact that Aunt Polly did not agree with Tommy and Grace's union shows her bitterness and her inability to truly be happy that Tommy found a woman who would have completely changed his life for the better. Grace did not want a life of always looking over their shoulders checking to see if her, Tommy and Charlie would be harmed. She genuinely wanted a life of peace and happiness. I remember when it was season 1 after Tommy and Grace made love he told her "I found you and you found me; we'll help each other." Deep down he believed in what he said to her because before she fatally got killed he said to her "I need you to be alright, I need you Grace, I need you." Anyone who really analyzes Tommy and Grace's relationship would see his genuine love and care for her. That guy loved her whole heartedly. After Grace he KNEW that there will be no other like her.

The acting is incredible, especially her being in love with him. It feels so real, and the piano music elevates this; it emphasises their intimacy. Her love is so honest and pure.

This scene kills me every time. They were just perfection. That smile at 1:40. The negotiated dance. The softness in him 😭 why she had to die I’ll never know. She could have been such an incredible instrument in the show. Amazing actress and character.

Watching the whole series again, its fascinating to realize again but this time how clear it was on how tommy only fell in love deeply and for real, to a fault even for Grace. When i say fault, the guilt of Grace's death and her haunting him because he can't let go. Tommy is always the one who initiates to Grace sweet gestures. A hug, a kiss, lots of kisses etc towards here. His soft voice and gentle touch only to her even when angry. Others, he argue, he lashes out. He can be gentle too, in fact he cared and loved all the girls he was with but Grace was just different. He was his soulmate and he gave his heart completely and never got it back. ❤
