Great review, as we've come to expect, Steve. technology gets better all the time, eh? And that gas cap down in the tank, unbelievable!

You could do colonoscopies on the side.

I’m just looking at getting one of these. It appears the Teslog brand also sells different size probe ends with camera. One of the ends actually has three cameras and it looks like one of those cameras is a macro lens for great close ups. If you didn’t solve this issue (it’s been a couple of years now) just wanted to pass the info along. Thanks for your time making a good video review.

That looks like a nice improvement on the old one. Wise to keep the old one though then you have the thinner 'tube' if you need it. The bigger picture looks like it will be much more useful in diagnostic situations. Thanks great video Steve. 👍👍

Given it has a memory card; you could record what you are seeing and then edit it in to the video. That way nobody need to grumble that they can't see anything. That would also make it more relaxed for you to use, as you don't need to fuss about showing it to the camera.

Great demonstration why paying the extra sometimes dramatically changes the experience for the better.

Useful looking tool. Since world+dog has smartphones today, it seems odd that no-one's brought out a tool that just cradles a 'phone and transmits the image by Bluetooth. The same setup could work with a laptop for really big real-time images.

I'm sorry to say but on both I can't see anything. Would it be possible to record on the borescope and drop that footage file into the video?
That way you don't need an expensive borescope with a huge screen.

Teslong is very popular with gun folks. They have models that hook to a phone, tablet, lap top, or computer. They have flexible or rigid problems, starting at around $50. They have models that have their own screen as well. As you see from this video, a very good picture.

It doesn't matter what we can see, but what a better excuse to get a new one!

Teslong sounds Chinese? Also you could see the valves on your mini because the spark plug hole was at the side and you already had a 45 degree angle of attack. If the spark plug hole was in the top of the head between the valves then the lack of the 180 degree would be an issue. It’s deliberately misrepresented on the box and I’d find a more honest one.

There must be a bore scope that uses your phone as the display device, as my drone happily does this. In which case you’d have retina resolution and wouldn’t be buying an all in one device with medium quality display. Also then you could distribute the photos/video very easily using whatever sharing your phone supports. None of this SD card old school stuff.

Interesting video but it might have been improved if you had recorded video with the new scope and inserted it into an onscreen box. The screen of the scope in your normal video view was too small to really see. Apart from that another great and helpful video, .

Used link to check out borescope. Clearly shows articulating head turned180 degrees. Seems like good quality picture for the price, though.
