HELLO THERE! So I have been researching good foundations for Oily/Combo Acne prone skin and this Neutrogena Skin Clearing Liquid Makeup Foundation keep popping up everywhere recommended by blogs and beauty bloggers… So I decided to try this for myself to see what the hype is about. So here is my first impression review and demo on this foundation!
As you will see the results are not exactly what I was expecting… Have you tried this foundation? What do you think ?

if anyone is looking to try this foundation recently i’ve been testing it for a couple weeks and have some tips! 🖤 : 1.) i have combo skin, so pretty oily in the tzone and super dry on the perimeters of my face. i use a pore filling primer on my nose and a hydrating primer + spf (all drugstore) everywhere else underneath and it combats the dryness :3 2) i feel like most application methods look kinda weird so i apply it with a cushion foundation puff (got 1 from daiso for $1.50!) and get some off the back of my hand, Press it into my skin, & layer it as needed i feel like this way looks the most even and i’ve never gotten patchiness or cakiness. 3.) as she says in the video, the salicylic acid might cause some irritation around the eyes so i apply right up to the top of my cheek bone and use a satin finish concealer that’s as close to my foundation shade as possible and feather into where the foundation ended. this way i get a really even looking under eye without worrying lol i hope this helps anyone!

This is the best foundation I have ever used.. I have tried Este Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, you name it, and they all let me down.. But this one is great, it stays on my oily skin all day, doesn't separate, and doesn't sink into pores💖

I know some people hate this, but try using your fingers and patting it in (like dabbing it in!) I've used this my entire life and it's the best foundation for me! Also as for the foundation changing after a while, it brings out your natural oils! So as it sets in, your face will start to LOVE this foundation!

It's the brush. If you use a beauty blender it sets in the skin very well

I have allergic reactions to all the foundations I've tried. I have been on the La Roche Posay treatment kit and it gave me the best looking skin I've ever had in just a week and a half. I used makeup for 3 days straight (properly cleansed afterwards) and my skin broke out even worse than it was before.

Don't know if I have to go out bare faced my entire life? Or this foundation might actually help fight acne while evening out the skin a little bit?

So weird! Used to use this when I was first getting into makeup and am using it now again years later and the coverage is still super high coverage in my opinion...I have active blemishes as well as redness in my skin.

This was my go-to foundation for 10 years. But then I started looking at ingredients in my makeup and it contains parabens. Wish they would replace them with better preservatives.

I recommend the acne clearing concealer😀 it works really well but it’s really hard to blend out. It’s probably cause I don’t use primers on my face but it cleared my acne so yeah.... u should try it

The first time I used this foundation I had problems similar to yours and sadly it did not get any better the longer I had it on. The longer I wore it the pastier a cakier my skin got but I think it might be my primer but I can’t afford high end quality primer from Ulta.

Instead of using any makeup, clean your face with Neem powder, blended into a paste, as a mask. If you have deeper acne leave it on for up to 2 hours. Also drink aloe Vera gel. Both of these you can get at an Indian market. The powder costs less than 2 a box, and lasts for more than a month. This is pure antibacterial anti fungal anti everything stuff and is pure plant. If you have oily areas in the scalp mix the powder with other powers like Aritha and create a thinner paste to put in your hair in those areas. Make sure to go narrowly through each section of hair, and let dry to a crisp.
After showering it off, use pure fresh aloe Vera gel from kroger or other grocery, on hair and face.
