Zotac 4070 Ti Trinity OC Unboxing, Review & Benchmarks

Follow along as I unbox a brand-new Zotac 4070 Ti Trinity OC, install it in my PC and provide benchmarks and overclocking settings used from 3DMark, TimeSpy, Port Royal, Final Fantasy XIV, Speed Way, Horizon Zero Dawn & Call of Duty Warzone 2.0.

Overclock settings:

I have the Trinity OC version, and it underperforms the 3090 (non Ti) that I had before. It was a water-cooled EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra which drew 420 watts, so I'm happy with the small compromise to save power. I never overclock GPUs (or CPUs) beyond factory overclocks because the tiny improvements are not worth stressing the hardware, blue screens, etc.

Just bought mine yesterday for USD930 in my country the trinity OC version and its really light and slick small for a 3fan high end gpu.

Undervolt it !!! Mine is @ 925mv 2610mhz clock and consumes 170 watts max stays silent and under 60c while gaming 1440p 165hz .. also mine is the non OC with two 8 pin adapter

Thank you for reviewing the Zotac Trinity! I've been trying to find reviews on it since it's the cheapest OC version. It's interesting that it can't hit 3Ghz unlike MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus that other reviewers found. I actually purchased a 4070 Ti Tuf OC, but haven't opened yet because I'm starting to feel maybe I should go for a 4080 for peace of mind for the next 3-5 years gaming at 1440p high hz. However, it's very hard to find a 4080 at MSRP in Canada and the 4080 FE is actually over MSRP by $30 USD here. I try to be conservative with my PC build, but I don't mind spending more if I could skip a GPU generation with it. Curious what you would do in my shoes?

It’s on Newegg for 749.99 and a $20 coupon so 729.99 and comes with Alan Wake 2 included right now so I’m pretty stoked. Should have it within a few days and this will be my first build ever.

68 degress and 1200 fan rpm is great. In terms of noise, it should be near silent, so it’s good. Ramping it up to 1800 will decrease temps to 60-62 easily

Zotac has own software Firestorm which allows overclock the card. Does any one have any experience? Which software is better?

To be honest I just bought the 4070 Ti Super of this model, 1# it was the cheapest but also 2# it's thermals are pretty decent and 3# like you I have the original o11 Dynamic so graphics card height is very important (if i want to put case door on anyway), while i have a PCI-E extender to vertically mount the graphics card but I would loose all access to my PCI-e slots and thus won't be able to install my SB XFi sound card that has Dolby Digital encoding for my speakers. This card profile is far more realistic compared to what's on the market today where they have became so bloated just for the hell of it.

Thanks for the overview on the Zotac 4070. I was on the fence between this and the PNY XLR8. The thermals info was useful. I will opt for the PNY over this one based on that info.
