Tandem is practically a dating app. Sure there are people who genuinely wants to practice languages but even many of them ended up in having a love-like relationship. Lets be honest: If your real intention is ONLY practicing a language, you could also talk to the same sex. Whenever women and men are coming together, there are always sentiments and feelings in the air because we are attracted to each other by nature. Period.

I have tried that app to improve my english, but so far i have not succeeded because people answer at first but then they just stop messaging me. I had the impression that some are too nervous to talk or they would rather use it as a datind app which is annoying.
