Most of the tates’ takes i agree with but this one is hot. They talk about being manly and traditional but the least manly thing you could do is make your kids do security for you and your house, thats stupid and wrong, as a man you should protect your children and keep them out of danger not the other way round, as they grow up they will gain an attitude that they were the ones protecting theyre parents so therefore they will get posessive and believe they are incharge of their parents which is not how it should be, if you want to give your kids jobs make them do payed labour like gardening or cleaning this will toughen them up just as much and show them discipline, and you will maintain as a parent a dominant provider role as oppose to a selfish one that needs theyre children to protect them. P.s the worst thing a parent could do is put their child in danger while they sleep in harmony, that is neglect, this isnt sigma or alpha like you idiots think this is inefficient parenting by all means make them work hard for their pocket money and treat them with discipline but this is just stupid and far fetched

You’re gonna trust your 13-14 year olds to fight off a grown man who’s possibly armed? Seems like a pretty crappy idea to me. Also kinda defeats the whole “provide and protect” part of being a father so, I disagree with this one.
