I downloaded what you said however, I didn't have to manually repair it- original reinstalled just fine, and I was able to open sims 4 finally. I haven't plated since the 9th and my game hadn't been working and suddenly origin wasn't working today- it was acting like the platform been deleted but my friend wasn't experiencing it; he sent me your video. Thanks for the help, I hope I won't run into anymore issues.

Thank you so much for the video it worked!! I was just curious though as to why you need to install these additional applications in order to run the Origin client? Is this something you'd have to do each time you factory reset your pc (I was having unrelated computer problems which meant I had to wipe the entire thing 😢)
