Cruz's character development from season one to two is phenomenal. Last season, i thought for sure she wasn't going to complete the mission and always seemed like a liability. Now, she is calm and steady and the trust that joe has in her makes me think Laysla is going to be there for the long haul as an eventual successor for Joe or another possible detachment.
