I watched this match live and went to the kitchen just as *it* happened... When I came back, I asked my dad, what happened? He had an empty expression in his eyes. I'll never forget what he said: "I think he's dead."

The brutal yet beautiful image of his teammates shielding him as he receives CPR will probably haunt me forever...

I remember hearing about this, I never saw it on tv but my dad and my brother did, I heard that when Eriksen was interviewed after he recovered he said he doesn't remember the incident happening.

I remember walking in to the room the second this happened and me and my Dad just stood there watching the tv to see if he was ok, pretty’s ur it’s the longest we’ve been together

I remember this, they televised the whole thing. The players had to form a barrier around him to give him privacy. They even decided to show a replay of him going down, you could see he was grey straight away, you saw his heart stop before he even hit the ground. I’m so glad he was ok though! They should have stopped airing straight away and go straight to pundits or sky sports news or something and just have updates, it wasn’t fair because now his poor wife and kids can see his video plastered across the internet.

I suffered a few cardiac arrests a few months ago and was fitted with a ICD like Christian Eriksen so I completely know how scary this is im still recovering....thankfully he has been fine for the last few years and has continued to play football and live on. He gives me hope and inspiration that god willing I can do the same 🙏

I get that it's extremely serious & everything. But why all the shots of players crying. It's like they just have to make it all about how they are feeling. They should have stretchered Eriksen of at lightning speed, and dealt with it without all the fan fare. Sorry, but there was no need for it to be about the other players & people.
