Harris Humane Mouse Trap to Catch and Release Mice EASY!

In this video, I provide you a close up and a quick review of the harris humane mouse trap that you can catch and release a mouse. I bought this from amazon, check out the amazon affiliate link

There are multiple air holes in the mouse trap so the mouse can breathe, also, it's relatively cheap, I bought mine for about 9 US dollars.

Forgot to add.. the KEY to manually opening the food placement door; (if food door is locked in place) gently press-in at the base of the food door, with your fingers, then slide door upward; will not open any other way. Either that or just don’t slide it down all the way before it clicks shut…

Oh and I have learned that mice love club crackers with peanut butter (do not use no saltines with peanut butter. The mice won't go after the saltines that aren't salty or greasy! You could also maybe use Ritz crackers or similar to those types of crackers. Also they seem to love oreo cookies but you need to open the halves up.Mice love the sweet white sugary part in-between the two cookies! I keep catching mice because of this type of cooky! You don't have to use the oreo brand.They seem to love that creamy texture INSIDE of the two cookies!

I use these when cats bring me a ‘live gift’ to keep curious cats from getting a paw to trigger the spring PLACE THE SET TRAP inside a 1 or 2 door small Parakeet bird cage I bought from a thrift store.. keeps cats from getting pinched or worse injury to nosey cats. Works ideally!

You should use rubber gloves when you handle this trap as well as putting food into the trap . When mice smell our human scent they might not want to go into the trap. I can say that the first time I set the catch and release trap with my hands and caught a mouse but since then I have used my non latex gloves I have caught 11 mice and released then all and still counting!

Mice can come back so either get kill traps or take them a few miles away if you release them.

The first time you put the trap down it looked a little hard. My trap which is now 4 years old, would have triggered. I'm looking to get a few more, but none seem as good as the one I got years ago. Why do companies do this?

Defeats the purpose of using a catch and release trap when you use chocolate candy for the bait dude that’s toxic to them shoulda used regular peanut butter
