Newborn baby duck left in pond, heartbreaking quack

Too cute baby duck. Since there were only a few baby birds and no parents were around, I thought that the ducklings had been abandoned, and as I was waiting, the mother duck returned. There weren't many chicks, and I wonder if they were eaten by crows when they were eggs...but I'm glad they were born!
